This enthusiasm for knowing all about everything associated to wine was a key aspect of the idea of participation-based tourist activities with which we founded Riojatrek.<\/p>\n I obtained a degree in electronic engineering in the University of La Rioja, and take care of Riojatrek\u2019s projection in the media: corporate image and design, website, social networks, photography, trade fairs and exhibitions\u2026 though whenever necessary I happily give a hand in the vineyard or winery. In the Riojatrek wine tour workshop<\/a>, we work on three rows of vines<\/em> on one of our estates in the area of Valdeg\u00fan. We leave Javier and To\u00f1o with the responsibility of taking care of the rest of the vines, as well as looking after those that grow in the other estates of Llanillo, La Plana, Las Veras, Bustillo\u2026<\/p>\n Grandma Tere adds the final touch to the Wine Tourism Experience<\/a>: she is in charge of making the homemade chorizo<\/em> that we eat in the vineyard, the \u201cmostillo<\/em>\u201d (a sweet dish made from grapes before they invented chocolate spread) and to have the grape juice (mosto) ready for the activities with children<\/a>. I joined Riojatrek in 2013 and I began to teach anyone who was interested in learning about the attractions of La Rioja, with its wines, villages and historical places. Being in contact with people from other places with their different knowledge is a really gratifying experience.<\/p>\n Sport is another of my passions: running through the vineyards with my two dogs, enjoying the scenery of this valley and discovering new territories and wineries are just some of my hobbies. I worked for over four years with the Eguren family in the Qualified Designation of Origin Rioja and Designation of Origin Toro, managing communication, marketing and caring for the guests in their wineries. Since 2014 I have collaborated with Riojatrek, sharing the people, landscape and villages that enrich the DNA of this land of the thousand wines with the travellers who come to visit us.<\/p>\n Travelling is a reason for living. La abuela Tere pone el toque sabroso en las Jornadas de Enoturismo<\/a>: ella se encarga de hacer los chorizos caseros que almorzamos en el vi\u00f1edo, el mostillo (un dulce a base de uvas que se hac\u00eda antes, cuando no hab\u00eda nocilla) y de tener a punto el mosto que prueban los peque\u00f1os en las visitas con ni\u00f1os<\/a>.<\/p>
