Introductory wine tasting course
The object of the beginners course is to teach people how to taste wines in a simple and reasoned manner. You’ll learn the wine tasting terms, as well as how to store and serve wine.
We will give you a detailed explanation of the different sensory phases and how they work. You’ll learn how to distinguish the different types of wine, about the subtleties of wine making, the wood the barrels are made of and the way wine has evolved over the years.

Wine tasting among friends
Wine tasting among friends is an educational and informal wine tasting activity for small groups of friends where we will learn how to enjoy wines in an even better and practical way.
When we carry out this activity we don’t want to give you lots of boring theory on wine. Our aim is to let the people who participate enjoy themselves discovering the differences between wines, comparing them, finding their own tastes and learning about them in a different and fun way.
Different types of wine tasting
- “Panoramic” wine tasting of a specially chosen selection of Rioja wine
- Great wines of the qualified denomination of origin (D.O.C.) Rioja
- blind wine tasting
- Comparative wine tasting between classic wines and signature wines
- Wine tasting of single varietal wines
- Learn how to tell the difference between a Rioja and a Ribera del Duero
- Comparative wine tasting between Spanish and French wines
If you wish, at the end of the wine tasting you can buy any one of the wines you have tasted.
